There are very few bands that come off the blocks as quickly as Carbon Choir has. Having been together only the better part of ‘07, and having already thrown out a three-song self-titled EP, all while playing some of Denver’s more vibrant venues – not only shows their driven talent, but also their ability to understand the business. With the help of producer/engineer John McVey, Carbon Choir has wrought out an undeniably great beginning to a successful run. Their album does drastically shift moods time and time again over tightly melodic ambience.
