I Am The Dream is an Electronica/Rock/Hip-Hop band, composed of originality, innovation, and a constant reinvention of creativity. In only a short amount of time, brothers Raj and Ravi have toured throughout most of the United States, crafting their live persona. They released their debut “In Your Dreams EP” (produced by Andrew Grosvalet) last year, which sold an extensive amount of copies (for an independent band) through booking their own tours, countless self-promotion, and being featured in a number of local and national publications including: appearance on ’The Roundtable Show’ on Sirius Satellite Radio, BandOfTheDay.com, The 2007 Bamboozle Presents: ’The Break’ Compilation CD, a performance on NBC Universal/Mun2 Network ‘The Roof TV’. They were also invited to play some east coast dates on the 2007 Van’s Warped Tour.
These boys see no purpose of ever quitting the passion they live day-by-day. Having already caused witness by much of the industry, it was only a matter of time before IATD found a home with One Eleven Records, who met their needs on a creative level, as well as a business level. 2008 appears to be a promising year for these dedicated and driven boys. This summer, they will be releasing their One Eleven Records debut EP “Shapes & Colours” (produced by Andrew Grosvalet), which is a collection of songs that carry an original brand and sound, not heard before but many current, redundant artists.
Establishing an independent foundation has enabled them to be self-sufficient and acquire a strong business mindset. However, they still remain humble and focused on their priority of making “music with a purpose”. The impact IATD’s music will make in the coming years is something that will set a precedent for others to follow.
