Jonathan Snyder’s head was about to explode. After 10 years of writing songs his noggin had become quite full of catchy little tunes. Determined to either publish or parish, and to avoid one massive headache Jonathan entered the studio. The services of his close friend Ryan Waller were called upon for bass guitar and Missing DuFrenes was born. Six songs were recorded and released as a self titled EP in January 2007. Not long after that drummer Peter Higgins came along and completed the lineup. Missing DuFrenes tell tales of battles won in a war that’s already been lost, layered with a wall of melodic grittiness and delivered with dry witt and genuine sincerity.
