Born and raised in Denver and the outlying suburbs, Tyler is still a man of the world (if the world is isolated to the Denver – Metro area). At the age of 12 (or something like that), Tyler first heard The Polecats on the local video show Teletunes. From then on, it was good music by obscure bands.

Tyler has a strange obsession with growing his hair out and then shaving it all off. He lived in San Antonio, TX for 9 months in the 80’s before moving back to Colorado. In the mid 90’s he lived in Massieville, OH for 5 weeks before moving back to Colorado. In the late 90’s he lived in Lake Mary, FL for 3 weeks before moving to Athens, GA for almost 2 years. He then moved back to Colorado.

Tyler DJ’d a night in Denver called Hypersonic (with Cody Lee Dopps) before he moved to Lake Mary, FL (and then to Athens, GA). He is known internationally as THE Rock Critic of his generation, having written for Chronic Halitosis, Denver Live, Fallout Magazine and Hybrid Magazine.

In the early 90’s, Tyler was in a local Denver band called The Ann B. Davis’. No one told him he couldn’t sing (well, no one he listened to anyway). Around that time, he was in a live Morrissey video (with long hair) picking his nose although he’s said to swear that it was a rub. (Tyler picks his nose constantly though).

He currently DJs Lipgloss, runs the website, does their flyers and handles most of the publicity, although he has a publicist write up the press releases. It gives him a rush of power you can’t possibly comprehend.
